As the number of confirmed cases decrease, KCDC urged each medical institutions to actively test for suspected COVID-19 cases in efforts to detect the “silent spread.”

KCDC stressed once again that all suspected COVID-19 tests reported to KCDC by the local health centers will be covered by national health insurance and other sources.

KCDC asked for continued participation in the Enhanced Social Distancing campaign which has been extended to 19 April, especially this upcoming weekend. KCDC is advising people to refrain from activities that make it easy to come in close contact with other people in an enclosed space and to maintain good personal hygiene including washing hands and covering coughs/sneezes.
